Service Description
Overview: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certification in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The RBT credential is designed for individuals who implement ABA services under the supervision of a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is important to families, agencies, and therapists for several reasons: assurance of competence, quality of care and support, consistency in intervention implementation, collaboration and communication, professional development, accountability and ethical standards, to mention a few. The RBT Training Course This training program is based on the Registered Behavior Technician Task List(2nd Ed.) (RBT Task List) and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for the RBT credential. The program is offered independent of the BACB as required. The course has been designed by a BCBA based on the RBT Task List organised in the following areas: Measurement, Assessment, Skill Acquisition, Behaviour Reduction, Documentation and Reporting, and Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice; All course or elements of it can be conducted in person or online and it will be didactic (e.g., lecture-based) or experiential (e.g., role-playing) in nature. Cost: £360 including study material, 40 hours training. Group discount is available.
