All pathways emphasize evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS), with opportunities for training, internships, and supervision. Tier 1: Entry-Level Pathway (No Prior Experience)

If you're passionate about supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young adults but new to the field, this pathway starts with foundational training.

1. Enroll in RBT Training: Complete our 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) training program, aligned with Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards. This covers ABA fundamentals, ethical practices, and neurodiversity-affirming techniques.

2. Internship Opportunity: Upon successful completion, participate in a supervised internship (work experience) with a ThriveNeuro partner organization, gaining hands-on skills in ABA/PBS implementation.

3. Employment Offer: Subject to vacancies and application success, receive an offer for full-time or part-time employment as an RBT candidate.

4. Certification: Work under supervision to meet BACB requirements and become a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), delivering direct ABA services.

Tier 2: Accelerated Entry Pathway (No Prior Experience, with Leadership Potential)

For passionate individuals aiming for advanced roles, this builds on Tier 1 with pathways to higher certifications.

1. Enroll in RBT Training: Complete the 40-hour RBT training program, focusing on ABA principles and ethical, assent-based interventions.

2. Internship Opportunity: Gain practical experience through an internship with a ThriveNeuro partner, applying PBS strategies in real-world settings.

3. Employment Offer: Upon successful internship and application, receive a full-time or part-time employment offer as an RBT candidate.

4. RBT Certification: Achieve Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification under BACB guidelines.

5. Advanced Education Support: Eligible candidates may receive support (e.g.,sponsorship or guidance) to enroll in an Applied Behavior Analysis degree at atertiary institution.

6. Supervision and Certification: Receive fieldwork supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or UKBA(cert) Behavior Analyst to pursue BCBA or UKBA(cert) certification, enabling leadership in ABA program design andoversight.

*Ideal for: Ambitious starters with potential for clinical leadership.

 

Tier 3: Mid-Level Pathway (Existing RBT Certification)

If you already hold RBT certification and are passionate about neurodivergent support, this pathway accelerates your growth.

1. Employment Offer: Apply for full-time or part-time roles; offers are subject to vacancies and successful applications/pre-employment checks.

2. Advanced Education Support: Qualified individuals may receive assistance to enroll in an Applied Behavior Analysis degree program at a university.

3. Supervision and Certification: Under the guidance of a BCBA or UKBA(cert)Behavior Analyst, accumulate supervised fieldwork hours to qualify for BoardCertified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or UKBA(cert) certification, focusing on advanced ABA/PBS implementation and ethical oversight.

 

*Ideal for: Certified RBTs ready to advance to supervisory or specialist positions.

 

Tier 4: Advanced Pathway (ABA Degree Holders)

For those with a completed degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals, this pathway focuses on certification andleadership.

 

1. Employment Offer: Secure full-time or part-time employment through our application process, contingent on vacancies and pre-employment checks.

2. Supervision and Certification: Receive direct supervision from a BCBA or UKBA(cert) Behavior Analyst to complete required fieldwork and exams for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or UKBA(cert) certification, enabling roles in program development, training, and clinical direction.

 

*Ideal for: Degree-qualified professionals seeking certification and senior opportunities.

 

Tier 5: Leadership and Advocacy Pathway (Advanced BCBA/UKBA(cert)Professionals)

For individuals with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or UKBA(cert) certification and a passion for leading ThriveNeuro’s strategic direction, this pathway focuses on executive leadership, advocacy, and research innovation.

1. Employment Offer: Apply for senior full-time or part-time leadership roles (e.g.,Clinical Director, Operations Director, or Research Lead); offers are subject to available vacancies, successful applications, and pre-employment checks (e.g.,qualifications review, references).

2. Leadership Development: Participate in advanced leadership training,including strategic management, cultural competency workshops, and policy advocacy skills, tailored to ThriveNeuro’s global operations (e.g., UK, Middle East and Africa).

3. Advocacy and Policy Influence: Lead initiatives to combat stigma and promote neurodiversity-affirming policies, collaborating with partners. Engage in public speaking, community campaigns, and regulatory consultations.

4. Research and Innovation: Oversee the Year 5 research arm, designing studieson ABA/PBS outcomes and telehealth efficacy. Supervise junior BCBAs/UKBA(cert)s and contribute to peer-reviewed publications, advancing evidence-based practices.

5. Certification and Growth: Eligible for executive certifications (e.g., Certified Autism Specialist or leadership credentials) and potential board membership,s haping ThriveNeuro’s long-term vision and 5-country expansion.
